Research fellowships during the 2020-2021 academic year

The Paris Institute for Advanced Study is launching four calls for applications for 5 or 10-month research fellowships during the 2020-2021 academic year.

Each of these calls is for high-level international researchers who have held a doctorate for at least two years and who do not work in France. It is not possible to apply for several calls with a single project.

- A call in the “Blue-Sky”, non-thematic, program, open to all disciplines in the humanities and social sciences, and to all research themes.
Application deadline: April 15, 2019.

- A call in the “Dark Clouds” program, aimed at supporting research in the humanities and social sciences on important and urgent threats to the future of our societies.
Application deadline: April 15, 2019.

- A call in the “Brain, Culture and Society” program, whose objective is to bring together the humanities and social sciences, psychology and the neuro-sciences.
Application deadline: April 15, 2019.

- A call for the Chair “Major Changes: Impacts and Ethical Dimensions of Environmental Transition / Artificial Intelligence”, in partnership with Sorbonne University.
Application deadline: April 23, 2019.
