Andrew Kahn receives the Honourable Mention of the "Scaglione Prize for Studies in Slavic Languages and Literatures"

The Modern Language Association of America (MLA) awards the Honourable Mention of its "Scaglione Prize for Studies in Slavic Languages and Literatures" to Andrew Kahn, former resident of the IEA in Paris, and Mark Lipotsky, Irina Reyfman and Stephanie Sandler for their book A History of Russian Literature, published by Oxford University Press.

A History of Russian Literature was a finalist in the literature category of the PROSE Awards of the Association of American Publisher's.

Every two years, the Scaglione Prize is awarded for outstanding scientific work on the linguistics or literature of Slavic languages, including Belarusian, Bulgarian, Croatian, Czech, Polish, Russian, Serbian, Slovak, Slovenian, Ukrainian and Czech. This award will be presented on January 11, 2020, at the MLA Association's annual convention
