Eva Andersson, research-fellow 2025-2026 at Paris IAS wins three-year funding for a project
Eva Andersson, professor in the Department of Human Geography at Stockholm University, Sweden, and 2025-2026 research-fellow at the Paris IAS, has, together with Ida Borg and Juta Kawalerowicz, obtained funding from the Swedish agency Forte for a three-year research project entitled ‘How neighbourhood, school and crime reorient an individual's life course’.
This interdisciplinary project will explore how social environments – in particular neighbourhood, education system and exposure to crime – influence individual trajectories, opportunities and inequalities throughout life.
Forte is a Swedish research council that funds work in the fields of health, working life and wellbeing. The research supported by Forte paves the way for a more equal and sustainable society.
