Presentation

As part of an international academic collaboration with the University of Córdoba (Spain) and the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (Spain), the SILES team (International Seminar on the Spanish Language), affiliated with the ALTAE laboratory (UFR EILA, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences) at Université Paris Cité, with the support of the Paris Institute for Advanced Studies, will organise, from 20 to 22 May 2026, the first Franco-Spanish travelling conference dedicated to specialised discourse.

Entitled “Global Health: Linguistics, Translation and Teaching”, this conference aims to explore contemporary issues related to global health from a linguistic, translation and teaching perspective, in line with Université Paris Cité’s institutional motto: Global health: healthy people, in healthy societies, on a healthy planet.
