Presentation
The research focuses on the presence of Latin American female artists in the collection of the CNAP (Centre National d'Arts Plastiques), the longest-running collection dedicated to “living” art in the world. Although several artists are part of this collection, they lack studies and visibility. The project is part of a collective research entitled:HER/itage in a Digital Age – (re)discorvery, discoverbility, recognition, coordinate by the group Hermes/Matrimoines, which is interested in the central and complex role played by digital technology in the process of (in)visibilisation of matrimoine (artistic and cultural heritage transmitted by women and generally less visible than male heritage).
