Presentation
The project is dedicated to a group of scholars (such as Freud, Warburg, Simmel, Benjamin et al), who formed a fascinating intellectual movement around 1900.
Without forming a homogeneous group, in retrospect their works show similarities in theoretical convictions, their way of thinking, operating in border areas and working on border concepts between disciplines and cultures, and beyond the taxonomic order of knowledge and conventional historical narratives oriented towards chronology and progress.
