Margaux Dumonteil is an engineer in environment and major risks, graduated from the Ecole des Mines d'Alès, and has completed her studies in Germany with the International Master "Environmental Risks and Human Security" from the University of Bonn and the United Nations University. After several professional experiences in SMEs in France and research institutes in Europe, as well as a long-term commitment to associations, she joined the Paris Institute for Advanced Study in May 2019. Previously a research engineer at EIVP (Ecole des Ingénieurs de la Ville de Paris), she contributed to an intersectoral project (public research institutes, private consulting firms and municipalities) on the adaptation of cities to climate change.

Within the IEA, Margaux Dumonteil is in charge of the development of the Resilience and Territorial Innovation Chair.
