Emmanuel Alloa, professor of aesthetics and philosophy at the University of Fribourg in Switzerland and fellow for one month at the Paris IAS in January 2026, will present the expanded reissue of his book La résistance du sensible. Merleau-Ponty, critique de la transparence (Merleau-Ponty, Critique of Transparency) (Vrin, Bibliothèque d'Histoire de la Philosophie – Poche, May 2025), originally published in 2008 by Kimé and translated into several languages. He will be accompanied by Judith Revel and Camille Riquier.
