Symposium organized by David Armando, 2024–2025 fellow at the Paris IAS and research director at the National Research Council’s Institute for the History of Philosophy and Science in the Modern Era (ISPF-CNR) in Naples, and by Jean-Luc Chappey, Professor of the History of Science at the Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne and Director of the Malher Center at the Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, and by Claire Gantet, Professor in the Department of History at the University of Fribourg and associate member of the IHMC, as part of the Harmonia Universalis project, with support from the Swiss National Science Foundation.
