11th European Communication Conference

The 11th edition of the European Communication Conference (ECC 2026), organised by the European Communication Research and Education Association (ECREA), will take place from 8 to 11 September 2026 in Brno, Czech Republic.

This international conference brings together researchers in information and communication sciences to discuss the contemporary transformations of media, communication and cultural industries.

On this occasion, Fredrik Stiernstedt, 2026-2027 Fellow at the Paris Institute for Advanced Study (Riksbankens Jubileumsfond Chair), Dean of the School of Culture and Education and Professor of Media and Communication Studies at Södertörn University, Sweden, will take part in several sessions of the conference.
