Sustainability is a key principle in global scientific, economic, and political debates. It is based on the idea that development should meet the needs of the present generations without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs, while maintaining a balance between environmental, economic, and social dimensions.
This workshop, led by the Chair holder Nadia Postorino, will bring together researchers from Paris 1 and partner universities of the alliance from various disciplines to discuss the multiple facets of sustainability:
- Romain Courault, Associate Professor of Geography, Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne.
 - Ana Margarida Condeco Melhorado, Researcher in Human Geography, Universidad Complutense de Madrid.
 - Emmanuel Picavet, Professor of Philosophy, Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne.
