Presentation

Vladimir Safatle will discuss how the notion of "nature" is one of the main theological-political concepts inherited by the history of Western metaphysics and how a decolonization of our practices of social emancipation involves overcoming the dichotomies that such a notion implies. To do so, one must be attentive to the way in which the concrete social struggles of Latin American native peoples and their institutional inventions articulate a profound awareness of the relationship between our current economic, social and economic crises with a deeper epistemic crisis.
