Presentation
When we share our private data, the recipient not only has the data, but they can use it to infer other things about us. For instance, if you share your age, gender, and address with a large web company, the company could infer your income, politics, and education level. We can reduce the precision of the inferences, and increase our personal privacy, by being vague. For instance, we may only share a range of ages instead of our actual age. This project is aimed at understanding how vagueness affects the precision of inferences from personal data.
