Presentation
Strategic investment in the design of Buildings, Communities and Grids are as critical as clean energy supplies and electric infrastructures to meet our global commitments to achieve decarbonization by 2050. This project is driven to quantify that the building sector is the biggest "end use sector" in the carbon equation and can have the greatest impact on minimizing carbon energy demand and optimizing energy supply, while providing measurable gains for productivity, health, and environmental quality. Investing in planning, design, construction, operation, and disposition of urban, suburban, and rural buildings, communities and grids is the most cost effective path to carbon neutrality while improving quality of life with equity and advancing resiliency in the face of climate change.
